Been in bed all day without a hangover

Once upon a time New Year's day in bed meant only one thing, hangover! But now I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis a day in bed is not uncommon. My body gets tired and I don't mean yawn type tired I mean exhausted type tired! When people say that MS causes fatigue they are describing me an exhaustion it not just running round the park tiredness I am full on complete knackered exhausted! I got up this !morning with every intention of going out to our daughters this afternoon!
Heather pushed me through to the bathroom sitting in the shower chair and I shaved showered and everything else  and headed back to my bedroom.
Heather hoisted me out of the shower chair and laid me back into my bed! At that moment out daughter and grandson rung the doorbell!  Their visit involved bacon rolls so I was left laying on the bed so I caught a few Z's. I was awoken by my grandson calling up the stairs "Grandad do you want tea or coffee" I opted for tea and let it go cold because I went back to sleep!
Heather threw another cover over me and went for her own shower! When she had finished and was dressed she came in to get me dressed and ready for going out! Me on the other hand couldn't move! My legs are hard to move normally but this morning I couldn't move them FULLSTOP.
I couldn't reach the side rails on the bed to roll over! I was unable to move! Normally my body behaving like this is the sign I have a urine infection! My catheter was changed two weeks ago and my pee is straw colour so no obvious signs of infection! To cut a long story short I stayed in bed and am still there! Heather came home I have had cups of tea a bowl of porridge and honey, that was hard to eat because my head wouldn't raise so I had a rare old time trying to avoid wearing porridge!
The time is now 1:15 am and I have just turned the telly off Match of the Day has finished, Liverpool are playing tomorrow or later today if you get what I mean! My body is moving my legs are sort of bending and now I have to try and get some sleep 😴 My body needs more sleep? No but it won't complain I just hope I don't lay here all night  🌙 ! Happy New Year everyone! The year has changed but my MS is still the same! 👍

Nearly the New Year. Two hours left of this decade

I turned 64 This past October so I have seen a few New Years celebrations! It makes me no sort of expert just a senior experiences person! I have done okie kokies blocking the A2 in Ospringe as the customers of three pubs poured out of the bars  banging tin trays and spilling the contents of glasses as they put the left leg in!! One year me and a mate went to Trafalgar square and got into the fountains but we had planned ahead and had dry clothes in the car!  So we managed to get in a few clubs before returning home to Faversham.
since I have been married for over forty years most of my New Year Celebrations have been at home!
Our normal New Year eve would involve a Chinese take away. Tonight was no exception other than it was home cooked. The local takeaway closes Tuesdays. So off to Asda for Chinese cook at home! Sweet n sour chicken boiled rice and a beef curry plus duck wraps with plumb sauce!! 👍I am in bed it's now 10:30pm and some crappy film about pregnant women in New York is on. I am so engrossed I decided to write this post wishing all of my readers a very happy and prosperous 2020 and may you all have good health. I hope I can start blogging about my Multiple Sclerosis and the ongoing colostomy saga! Will I get my op this new decade? See you in the new year just 78 minutes away!😁
